Ngulngilanha’s Cultural workshops introduce Aboriginal Culture through fun and engaging activities. They can be tailored to early childhood, primary school, businesses and more. In which the activities and depth of knowledge shared will vary.

These workshops will increase knowledge and deepen their understanding of Culture, while also celebrating the beauty and importance of our Culture.

Experience Cultural song and dance. Learn dances about animals, Country and stories focusing on Ngiyampaa dance movements and songs

Weaving


Weave and create your own basket! For younger groups learn basic weaving skills by weaving bracelets

This session can also be facilitated on Country to collect materials for weaving, allowing participants to learn how to cut and prepare grasses. This additional activity is for Women only.

Learn about traditional Cultural art and storytelling, focusing on Central Western NSW symbols and styles of art.

Participants can create their own artwork or a collaborative piece

Outfit Making

Learn about adornment pieces and their purpose for dance and traditional uses . As well materials, such as Echidna quills, emu feathers etc.
